I have decided that there is just too much crap here. My crap, other people's crap- whatever whatever whatever. It's too cluttered!

Seriously now, WTF is she?

Um well, I'm mostly here...just not here here. 
What I mean to say is that I check dA multiple times every day I'm on the computer and stay an active member by commenting, doing polls, making collections, etc etc. I just don't really...post anything anymore. And that's because- I have nothing to post! I haven't drawn anything or done anything lately- I've just been doing other things! Mostly schoolwork and networking.
I'm on Twitter- and that's probably the fastest way to get me a quick message nowadays. Twitter account name is the same as here without the stupid camel-casing (what was I thinking?!). In fact, you may find that googling "akuwaneko" will bring up a lot about me, since I'm evidently the only one out there. *Special*
I have been surviving my course workload by drinking lots of soda, eating lots of chicken and taking lots of Ibuprofen (but never more than the recommended dosage!). I also drink a lot of V8 fusion and eat a fair amount of Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds, sans-milk. I don't know, seems healthy enough to me. I'm trying to gain my weight back. I lost around 9 lbs last month, which scared me quite a bit, but I'm trying to gain it back! Yes, yes, don't shoot me, I realize most of the nation wants to lose weight, but hey most of the nation doesn't weigh 100 lbs at 5'4"! I need to get fatter. Plus, it's Winter-- NO, I KNOW IT'S AUTUMN, SHUT UP -- so it's cold!
Um, I've been updating my blog more than anything else, so yeah, check there for things. Also, my TinierMe account is more active than my Gaia one, so don't be surprised if Gaia gets thrown by the wayside while I drool over how adorable and how much better designed TinierMe is.

WTF is she doing now?

Um, I'm doing...things? School related things, mostly. I have 5 classes:
EALC-C: Chinese III <<LOL Chinese FTW
CSCI-N341: Client-side Web Programming <<Love
N280: Design Principles <<Crazy teacher
N240: Intro to Digital Video <<Hatred
N199/N299: Directed Study I/II <<WTF, job getting?
I also have a free-lancing project I'm working on. More on that disaster later...
What happened to all that fanart? Well, I didn't draw it. Ha. I have done other sketches but all of the sketchbooks are at my parents house and not here so despite having a kickass all-in-one HP Photosmart Printer-Fax-Scanner-Copier I haven't scanned anything because I don't have it with me to scan! See, it's all logical in the end. And obviously has nothing to do with laziness.
Those other six non-school projects I'm working on haven't gotten anywhere yet. Sorry, nothing to show for all my excitement but an empty forum I created to organize my thoughts and files for the projects. I also still try and keep up with my WordPress blog which was renamed "Evil IS the Cat" (if you wanna' know why I renamed it, you can read the blog post about it).

Ahem, anyway. So I've done all those sketches and such that I said I was going to, I just haven't been able to scan them yet. Don't worry, I'll do it soon. I'll do a bunch of scans at once and do a sketch dump or something.
So~ the real point of this post is to ask if you guys would be interested in seeing fanart, if I posted any? The thing is, I've been reading a LOT of manga lately and I really like some of them, so I was thinking about doing fanart. I haven't done fanart for an official series in a really, really long time. I usually have this thing about drawing "official" characters; I don't do it because I never feel like I do the characters justice. But lately I feel like I haven't been drawing my own characters very well, so maybe the fanart will help that? Who knows~ I'm going to give it a shot anyway. It sounds like fun.
Most of the series are shoujo series, since they seem to appeal to me lately. I only really like weird shoujo that involves, like, sci-fi or fantasy or whatever. Some of them are shounen though. OH, and of course, new webcomics I've been reading too- they totally deserve fanart too.
Ahem, anyway. So I've done all those sketches and such that I said I was going to, I just haven't been able to scan them yet. Don't worry, I'll do it soon. I'll do a bunch of scans at once and do a sketch dump or something.
